Elwin is a qualified and admitted attorney having started his career as a clerk and later, professional associate at the law firm of Aucamp & Cronje attorneys in Gauteng.

During his tenure in practice, he specialised in debt collection and specifically in communal living litigious matters. In 2014 he joined Trafalgar Property Management as National Debt Collection Manager overseeing all collection functions nationally, and later as Sectional Title manager overseeing both the Gauteng and Western Cape operations comprising of 4 offices in the respective regions.

ZenTeq was formed and founded by Elwin, during the covid pandemic and was birthed out of the need to change way in which property management was traditionally done. It offers professional and holistic support to managing agents and is a fresh take on the industry.

He enjoys the outdoors, motorcycles, dislikes apathy and lack of pride in one’s work, his hobbies include Ju Jitsu and fishing. He is passionate about his family.

Michael Schaefer brings more than twenty years of leadership experience in property and financial services.

Shahiem Carr brings more than 30 years of property management experience, shaped by one of the industry’s most inspiring career journeys. He began at the very foundation of the profession—working in the mail and dispatch department of a national property management company—where he developed a deep appreciation for operational detail and the inner workings of the industry. Through determination, curiosity, and an unwavering work ethic, he advanced steadily over the years, ultimately serving as the company’s Operational Director three decades later.

Shahiem’s rise through every level of the business gives him a rare, end‑to‑end understanding of property management. His hands‑on knowledge, operational insight, and ability to connect with people at all levels make him an invaluable leader. Known for his infectious enthusiasm, high energy, and genuine passion for the industry, he brings both depth and momentum to the team—combining experience, capability, and strategic thinking in a way few can match.

Anne started out in industrial property management as a personal assistant who then took on a bookkeeping role. She worked for a powder coating company for several years doing bookkeeping and then moved back to property management again in 2010.

Annelie van Biljon is a dedicated and client-focused professional with a BTech in Business Administration from Tshwane University of Technology. Since entering the industry in 2018, she has built a reputation for her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering exceptional service. Known for her approachable nature and collaborative mindset, Annelie values strong relationships, clear communication, and teamwork, making her a trusted partner and valued team member.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Annelie enjoys spending time outdoors and creating meaningful memories with family and friends. Bridget Loots brings 40 years of diverse experience across multiple industries, including travel, media, education, digital media design, and property management. While her core expertise lies in creditors, debtors, and bookkeeping, she also has valuable experience in media buying, marketing, creative design, and student and academic administration.

At ZenTeq, Bridget’s responsibilities include billings, coordinating clearance certificates and clearance figures, and liaising with attorneys and property owners. She ensures that all transfer related documentation and processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with required standards.

Bridget is committed to continuous learning and maintains a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail in her day to day work. Her extensive background has equipped her with adaptability and a strong ability to manage varied responsibilities with confidence and care.

Cameron is a member of ZenTeq’s Cash Office team fulfils the role of a Creditors Clerk. She plays a key role in supporting ZenTeq’s clients by loading supplier invoices, checking supplier statements, and ensuring payments are made accurately and on time.

Cameron brings a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow within the property finance industry. When she is not at work,  you will find Cameron indulging her passion for fashion, always on top of the latest trends.

Caren Botma is an experienced administrative professional with a background across multiple industries since 2015. Her passion for organisation and administration led her to complete a Diploma in Business Administration, strengthening the foundation for her career.

As a Transferring Clerk in the property management sector, Caren manages transfer and clearance processes across portfolios including Zenteq, BTM, Lumineer, LM Property Management, and ZD Management. She coordinates clearance certificates and figures, liaises with attorneys, property owners, and local authorities, and ensures all transfer related documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.

Caren is known for her strong organisational, communication, and problem solving skills, enabling her to manage multiple portfolios and deadlines with professionalism and attention to detail. She is committed to delivering exceptional service and contributing to smooth, compliant property transfers.

Joined ZenTeq embracing a new environment and began her journey in the utility department. Through hard work, determination, and a strong willingness to learn, she gradually progressed into the role of Debt Collector.

Donald Weir is a seasoned finance professional with over two decades of leadership in the property management sector. As a Chartered Accountant [CA(SA)] and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), he has built his career around financial performance, strategic management, and operational excellence.

For 20 years (2005–2025), Donald served as Financial Director at Pretor Group (Pty) Ltd, one of South Africa’s leading property management companies. He played a key role in driving financial results, ensuring compliance, and supporting sustained business growth. His expertise includes financial planning, governance, risk management, and corporate strategy.

He currently consults to ZenTeq (Pty) Ltd and ZDFin (Pty) Ltd and, assisting with financial reviews, budgeting, take‑on trial balances, monthly management reporting, and operational guidance for ZenTeq.

Outside of work, Donald is married with two children and enjoys cycling, gym training, and padel.

Having started his career in the property management industry close to 10 years ago, Donovan has gained a lot of exposure and experience in the financial side of the business whilst enjoying the day-to-day workings of community schemes.

In his time off, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching rugby!
